Terms of use
Accountants.com.my is a self-service accounts and tax platform operated by Robostrikeforce Sdn. Bhd. (company number 202601021273 (1683370-U)). These terms apply to our website at malaysia.accountants.com.my and to the client workspace at accountants.com.my.
What the platform is
Accountants.com.my is software. You prepare your financial statements yourself on the platform: you upload your records, answer the platform’s questions, then review and approve the result.
- We do not prepare, adjust, review, audit or sign your accounts or tax returns. No person at Accountants.com.my does this work. The platform’s software generates the financial statements and works out the tax return figures from the information you provide.
- No professional advice. The platform does not provide accounting, audit, tax-agent, legal or other professional services or advice. If you need advice, consult a qualified professional.
- Your directors approve. Your directors are responsible for the company’s records and for the final accounts. Nothing is released until a director approves the financial statements in the platform.
- You submit your own tax return. The platform works out your Form C, B, P or PT figures. You submit the return yourself on MyTax, with our step-by-step guides. We are not your tax agent and do not submit anything to the Inland Revenue Board for you.
Who provides what
The accounts and tax platform is provided by Robostrikeforce Sdn. Bhd. (202601021273 (1683370-U)). It is software and does not provide accounting, audit or tax-agent services. If you buy a bundle through RoboCompanySecretary.com, company secretarial services are provided by AK Secretarial Companies Sdn. Bhd., 201101008946 (937085-D), and each company invoices its own part. Until 14 October 2026, Accountants.com.my was operated by Genie Accountants Sdn. Bhd., 201201015106 (988623-P); invoices and documents issued before then show that company. Payments are collected for Robostrikeforce Sdn. Bhd. by its billing service provider, Genie Accountants Sdn. Bhd., 201201015106 (988623-P).
Your responsibilities
- Records: keep complete and accurate accounting records and upload everything the platform needs. The platform relies on your records and answers without checking them independently.
- Answers: answer the platform’s questions truthfully and completely.
- Approval: read the generated financial statements and approve them only when your directors are satisfied they are right. Approving is your directors’ own decision.
- Filing: circulate and lodge your financial statements with SSM, and submit your tax returns, estimates and payments to the Inland Revenue Board, within the legal deadlines.
- Keeping records: keep your accounting records and source documents for at least 7 years, as Malaysian law requires. Download your documents and generated files from the workspace; the platform is not your statutory record-keeper.
Prices and quotations
Prices on our website are reference starting prices for one financial year. An estimate is not an accepted quotation: your fee is confirmed in a quotation before you pay. Using the calculator or starting a submission does not by itself create a charge. Pricing a case by hand does not involve any work on your accounts.
Scope
The platform starts from a trial balance or bank statements and supporting records. Tax return figures, XBRL and other outputs are priced separately where offered. Rebuilding incomplete records, bookkeeping clean-up and unusually complex cases may be beyond what the platform can generate; if so, we tell you before you pay.
Pricing
Active-company estimates use the higher of turnover plus other income or total assets, with proportional pricing and comparison against 50% of the previous comparable accounting fee. Dormant pricing requires every stated threshold to be met. Eligibility is checked before quotation. No SST is charged under our current invoicing practice.
Service and delivery
- Quotations: your quotation is prepared automatically as soon as you submit. If your company falls outside our standard range, we price it by hand within 1 business day.
- Generation time: the platform generates your financial statements within 1 business day after it has received your payment, your complete documents and your answers to its questions. The timing therefore depends on how quickly you send documents and answers.
- Review and approval: when your financial statements are ready, a director reads them and approves them in the workspace. Approving releases them straight away. Nothing is ever treated as approved without a director’s approval.
- Corrections: for 7 days after your financial statements are ready, you can report an issue for a free corrected version where the platform’s software got it wrong. After 7 days, corrections are a paid revision, priced before any work starts. Each corrected version starts a new 7-day period.
- How we deliver: delivery is digital. You download your approved accounts in the workspace, and we email you when they are ready. We do not ship physical goods.
Response times
Our team aims to reply within one working hour, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Malaysia time. This is a target, not a guaranteed deadline. Questions outside these hours are picked up in the next working period. Support covers using the platform; it does not include accounting or tax advice.
Cancellation
- You may cancel before payment at no cost.
- If you cancel after payment but before preparation starts, we refund the amount paid in full. Preparation starts when the platform begins generating your accounts.
- After preparation starts, the refund policy below applies.
Refunds
- Full refund: if we fail to deliver a deliverable you have paid for, we refund the amount paid for it in full.
- Partial refund: if a deliverable is not up to expectation, tell us what fell short and give us the chance to put it right. If it still falls short, we assess a partial refund fairly.
- No refund: no refund is due once a deliverable has been approved or released to you and no shortfall is reported within 14 days after delivery.
- How to ask: email hello@accountants.com.my with your engagement reference and what fell short, or what you want to cancel.
- Refund timeline: approved refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
Liability
The platform relies on the information you provide. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, penalty, tax or interest arising from information you gave incorrectly, incompletely or late, or from financial statements or tax returns your directors approved or submitted. Our total liability for an engagement is limited to the fee you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
